NARONGSAK PLODMECHAI is a Chief Executive Officer, SCB Asset Management Co., Ltd. With over 20 years of investment management experience, he joined SCB Asset Management (SCBAM) in March 2011 and has been responsible for managing the company’s investment team.

He has consistently proved to be an astute CIO, through a series of success in performance improvement, new product initiatives, and a development of portfolio investment processes. He has been named CIO of the Year by Asia Asset Management’s Best of the Best Awards (Thailand) for four consecutive years (2015-2018). He has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in August 2018.

Prior to joining SCBAM,Narongsak served as Deputy Chief Investment Officer at American International Assurance Co., Ltd. and was Senior Director of the Government Pension Fund.

He received a Bachelor of Social Science degree from Chiang Mai University and a Master of Economics from Western Michigan University, U.S.A.
